The first time I tried sealing the tank end rivers ribs, I completely mangled things. I had a hard time getting the rivet gun to bear in the rivets. This time, though it went substantially better.
Not many pictures this week since my gloved hands were mostly covered in grey goo.
By grinding down one of the dies, I was able to get the squeezer onto the rivets better than my last try.
In the end, I got everything sealed, including the #5 rivets in the tooling holes.
Next week, I’ll go back to sealing the stiffeners and fittings. Then I’ll take on the ribs.
